Hi,
It can take years for cervical cancer to develop. Luckily, it is one of the slowest growing cancers that there is, and the most treatable.

Hi, i have just had "loop" procedure for CIN2, these pre-cancerous cells developed in 12mths, I had a previous loop in 1994, again only 12months after a clear pap test did I then have CIN3. I know this is not cancer but I have a friend who's close friend died of cervical cancer at 32 years old, only 7 years after a clear pap test, she never got around to making her next pap appt which was due at 28 years of age, she simply "forgot" to go back to her GP.
