Does anyone out there have memory problems while on treatment? I find that the next day after an injection my memory goes to pot. I forget my Riba the first morning after the shot every time and I just can't remember stuff the entire day. After that I'm fine for the next 5 days. I don't remember (no pun intended) reading anything about memory problems as a side effect.

Rparsons-
Howdy, good to hear from you again,
OH YA, "brain fog" and poor memory,[espressialy with spelling he he] are a very common effect of treatment, just about everyone I know are the same.
Heck the other night, [day after shot]I decided to make popcorn, I have this huge bowl I use for popcorn, [OK -im a popcorn junkie] so I always fill up the popper to the limit,
well I filled up the popper and went into the living room to catch up on CNN, after a bit I heard the sound of the popcorn being finished and walked into the kitchen,
-Well, I thought I left the kitchen Ducth doors open while it snow stormed out side, because my damn kitchen was WHITE, ahemm I kinda forgot the bowl [Neil Blushes] he he.
Oh well no harm done, and truth be known, My Malmute/wolf Dog BUD is a popcorn junkie too, so he had lots and quite enjoyed it.
I try to drive as little as posible on day two of my shots, as thats when my memory and brain fog are the worst, not a problem, just a precaution,
Drinking lots of water seems to help this somewhat.
Be positive, be Well +

hi. i found something at my pharmacy which has been a great help for me to not miss a dose/double dose...
i'm not sure what its called, but it is 7 plastic trays in a sort of small cabinet. each tray has 4 compartments labeled "breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime" also each tray is labeled for the day of the week.
it's really easy to use and takes away some of the stress of trying to remember if and when you had your meds.
in the morning, i would take the breakfast dose, put that particular tray in my pocket and was set for the day.
i like them so much, i bought one for everyone i know who is on long term meds. they all tell me they dont know how they managed without them. (probably didnt very well)
take care!

Thanks for the info. Thought I was getting old before my time. Wes, I did get one of those perscription doohikies and I love it. Won't keep me from forgetting so much as double dosing due to forgetting.
