i had numerous unprotected sex with a female from september- until end of november, maybe even the first week of december. at one point, we did it unprotected while she was on her period. i tested negative after 84 days via Oraquick swab test (saliva)...what are the odds of my negative result changing?

thanks for responding as quick as you did smiteler. is it ok if i ask you another question about stds (not hiv related) assuming you're pretty informed about that topic?

you can ask me anything and i will be happy to help if i can
i just more about hiv then anything else because i have it,
when you have an enemy, the best way to fight it,
is to learn as much as you can about it.
it is one of the most misunderstood things out there
the media doesn't help sometimes because of the same reason
its fear and paranoia from not being educated
i couldn't remember all the times i have seen or read something that isn't true!
if i don't know something
i go to a clinic that is at the forefront of hiv reasearch
so if i need to know something i have experts to ask that deal with it everyday.

around late january or early february i had a burning sensation while urinating and a pain in my flank. i went to the doctor and was tested for chlamydia and gonorrea (though i had no discharge) and the test were negative. i was still given antibiotics. about 2 days later i developed 2 sores. one on the tip which resembled a tiny pimple, and on on the side of my penis which resembled a tiny sore (both werent really painful). i cheated on my girlfriend and had an affair which lasted 3 months (almost always the sex was unprotected). could the sores be a side effect of the antibiotics?...does it sound std related?...my girlfriend has been suffering from yeast infections, could this be related? since early feb i have been experiencing "weird" symptoms such as fatigue, white tongue, burning tongue, random pulsating sensation in muscles, burning feeling throughout body, cold hands, mild headache, dry mouth, irritated throat (no pain when swallowing) just a scratchy, hoarse feeling, dry cough, patches of dry skin, wheezing and shortness of breath. i know you are no expert, but could this be anxiety? also, i have what appears to be tiny hives on my legs, along with what looks to be bruises, are syphilis rashes raised, or can they be mistaken for bruises? sorry for the long read

wow that is alot....
from what you say it seems alot of different things are happening
the sores could be the signs of something else or then they
could be just a skin irritation of sorts
it is impossible for someone to diagnose you thru the internet.
alot of your symptoms could be from what you stated before.
anxiety can cause many of those things, what will also happen is that
you will tend to make things alot worse then they really are thru the power of your mind.
by overthinking and overexamining things
if i were you for a piece of mind i would go see a doc
let him know whats up
and get yourself a complete set of std tests,so you then will know for sure what is going on instead of beating yourself up by guessing and dwelling on it
good luck and let us know how you make out!

Hey - I'd like to highjack this post if I may. I was wondering how effective rapid testing is? I recently had a test where they took about 3 drops of blood - put it into a machine, with a clear liquid and in 30 minutes I had a result. Negative.

It seems a bit eazy no?

Can the result be trusted.

Please respond.

Thank you.
