View Full Version : Pegasys Shot # 13 - Day 1

Howdy and HOOOOYA all-

Did ole lucky thirteen last night, as on Fear Factor, a half dozen poor souls ate 10 three inch live huge caterpillars, as the bite crap projected out their mouths, he he outstanding, made my shot meaningless again.

I inject very slowly, as if everything is in slow motion, no pain, no redness, no after pain, no bumps,
I did inject a little higher on my stomach last night, than I wanted, and as I usually just lift my shirt to inject, it fell down and I could not see what I was doing, had to have the wife for the first time, much to her dismay, help with injection by lifting my shirt,
from now on the shirt comes off, [of course the chest will have to expand, to strut and stuff, he he]

I feel outstanding, best so far, did stuff I wanted the last four days, two of those days, were looking for deer antlers sheds, between the two days I walked over twenty miles, though willows "where the rabbits would not go”,
I found my half gallon water bladder in my backpack with tube and bite valve, was not enough, because I was continually drinking water,
I had to stop every ten steps to pee, but that was good as I found most of the sheds that way, he he.

It was great, that night I came in the house and had to wait a hour for my a$$ to catch up But now I feel wonderful, I mean great, ready to take on the world, if these treatments are a little rough on some, give me some of your symptoms, I can take it for you- HOOOOYA.

Have not got the results from my 12 WK PCR yet, but the doc called me late Thursday, and said my thyroids and everything else with the PCR checkup were normal, she also mentioned that since my 4 wk check up PCR was so encouraging, -HUH? did not know there was one,

My GP was supposed to tell me those results, but ahemm guess I should make an appointment to see him, apparently your supposed to still see your doc occasionally even if you feel outstanding.

Anyway she said after four weeks my viral count went down from six million to six hundred thousand, Hooooya, something working, something all the supplements in the world could not do for me, for a Geno type 1A, I think that is very encouraging, can not wait for the 12 week results.

My sprits are very high, this beautiful spring weather and fresh air is good medicine, - fresh air and the outdoors, exercise, lots of water, and that positive attitude, very best medicine.

Sean gave me a little good advise DD, if you feel a need for Tylenol, take one, I just endured those aches and pains when they appeared, but now if I feel them coming on, I take an Tylenol, now I never feel anything, on a "bad day" if you can call them that, at most I would take three xtra strengths, that stuff works great for any and all sides I have had with Pegasys and Ribavirin. [Again only on, advise of a medical professional]

I have a booth at a sports show this weekend for my Archery shop/lanes, some 16 hr days, with a busy week preparing prior, so I may be not posting much, but will be checking in for sure, more good medicine keeping busy, and I know- but not to busy, this treatment will just have to take a back seat, because it is not in control of me, I AM in control of this TREATMENT.

Neil the way you get around I don't think you could tell if you have fatigue from the tx or just from being so dad gum hyper!

I agree with you on not letting this tx control you; you just can't let it!

Take it easy some ok?

Hi Neil,

Wow...sounds like you're a busy boy. Glad to hear you're feeling good!!

My son loves Fear Factor but I just get grossed out and can't watch it. Guess being scweamish during those bug things can really take your mind off of shot time.
If your wife starts helping you with those shots, you'd better be a good boy or she'll "stab" ya with the needle for revenge.....teeeeheeee!

What do you do with the deer antlers? Just curious. We use those camelpacks for dirtbike riding. For my daughter I freeze it with half water, that way it stays cold for a long ride.

Yahhhoooooooooo...so happy to hear about your counts. I'm not a professional but I'd say those were very good numbers in a short period of time!!!!!!!

Have a good time at your show, don't overdo!

hey great idea, with fressing the water bladders, Duhh the one on mon I was drinking from was like warmed up wee wee, he he

The anlers are worth big bucks for some, I keep a collection of the bigger ones and sell the smaller ones, I have even had actual deer mount's from the sheds, and the great thing is the deer is still running around out there, they are sold in the USA for crafters making all types of thing, lamps chandaliers etc.
Thanks all, for the comments, will promise to slow down, -next week, wait, -ahh the week after, - nooo thats when I go up north wilderness guiding, so when I get back - no wait thats-
