Hi Susan, aren't you so sweet. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts.
My injection went well, didn't even feel the needle go in but I think I rubbed the area too hard cuz now I have bruise the size of a nickel. About 2:30am I woke up with the chills and had planned ahead with an electric blanket. I took 2 tylenol and went back to sleep.
I got up Saturday and decided to go for a walk and work out the soreness, that went really well but by 3:00pm I has laid up. I felt real flu-ish and yucky. That is some kicken stuff! By Sunday though I was much better and went to church then off to the farm for a cook out and today I feel pretty good. I'm at work going full speed as usual. A little tired but I always am anyway. This is going to be an interesting 6 months.
Hey, how did your trip go? Have you learned to drive that RV yet? Go for it girl!!!!!! Hope your hubby's ankle didn't flare up. How is his energy level?
Take care and let me know!

Hi Jeannie,
Wow....I'm SOooooo glad to hear that. I hope it goes the same for you EVERY week!!!
I was told not to rub it as it WILL bruise. On another board they also mentioned that you shouldn't "jab" the needle in too hard or it will bruise. They also talked about the red blotch it leaves and to avoid this....push the solution in s-l-o-w-l-y and then take the needle out slowly versus the jab, plunge and pull out quick method. So far it's working for hubby---no bruises, no red marks. He said it is sore in that spot about 3 days later like it was "dead" and now coming back to life. Just a thought.
No way can I drive that rig...I'd be side swipin' every car on the 91 freeway. Trip went really well despite my brother in law getting hurt. Gerry had a great weekend and I think he was pleasantly surprised how well he did. Thanks for asking.
Take care,
Susan

Girlfriend, I think your family is a little accident prone! Glad your bro-inlaw is ok and didn't you have an uncle or nephew that got hurt a few weeks ago?
Sometimes I wish I had a wife, husbands just don't always understand where we wifes are coming from. My hubby is trying but he just doesn't quite get I have a disease. He stayed clear of me all day Saturday when I was feeling bad (which is good because I am one of those people who like to be left alone when I feel bad) but I think he was scared that treatment would be like that everyday for the next 6 months. I can tell he is more relieved as each day passes. I guess you could understand him better since you are in his shoes.
Tell you hubby to take the darn Tylenol. Why suffer?! That little amount will not cause any damage and it will really help him get through it.
I have to say that today I feel great. Can't feel any sides at all. No aches, no headache, no fatigue so I just want to thank the Lord!!!!! Yiiipppeeeeeee!!!!!
Have a good one. Pool ready yet???

Jeannie-
Hooooya, made it though shot #1, that the hardest one, [Mentally], this first week, your body begins to adapt, your mental positivity is 50/50 of these treaments.
Checked in first thing this morning just to see how you made out, if you are up to it, please keep a log here, it is a great help to others, good or bad.
Remember, Take control of this treatment, DO NOT let it control you, will be thinking of you every day, so please keep us posted,
When I inject, I do everything in slow motion, the only thing I feel is breaking the thick skin of the first layers, thick skin, thick headed, hmmm he he,
DO not be a stranger here, we need to hear more from you.
Be Positive, Be well,+
Well Neil you beat me to the punch line. I thought hmmm thick skin, he must be putting the needle in his head (ha ha ha ha ha).
I feel great today! Its a beautiful spring day out. Went walking over the river bridges yesterday and am going again today. Life is good! I told my husband how great if feels to feel good! He looked at me really strange.........
I started juicing fruits and greens. Who would have thought you could drink spinach without gagging? Me! But its not so bad, just put an apple in it and its ready to go! I am hooked on juicing now and I try and do organics now that the growing season is here. I really think this is going to help me.
Did you see Fear Factor last night? OH is was soo soo sooooo gross. Those tomatoe catapillers were just nasty and here I was trying to drink tomatoe juice. I almost had to change the channel but I am strangley drawn to this show.........
Good to hear from ya Neil, you are my partner is this crime.
Take care,
Jeannie

HEY, I bet you ccould make a kewl drink with that juicer and some of them catipillers huh? yummm
you got me thinking that the jucier might be a good thing to havre, I am going to look into one.
Great to see you getting outdoors and walking, damn fine medicine girl,
\
All the best to YOU Jeannie, my thoughts will be with you every day thru this.
I luv my juicer. Its a Jack LaLanne and boy is it powerful. I can fit whole pieces of fruit in there and the pulp almost comes out dry.
I highly recommend it. Its a great way to get your vitamins and minerals and its quite tasty really. I haven't made a bad drink yet that I can't sweeten up with a carrot or apple. I worried about drinking the carrot juice but then I read while it does contain vit A its main component is the beta carontene which won't harm the liver
Just my little juice tid-bit for the day!

Shot #1 down! It goes slow at first but seems to go faster and faster the further you get into it. at least that was my experience. GOOD LUCK!
