I'm 43. Have not had a period since Feb 1st. My breasts are so sore. They don't even get this sore before my period. Guess it can be Peri-Menopause although my blood work says hormorne level is fine. Period has been irregular at times. Just wondering anyone have the same problem?

:)Don't know if this will help you but I went through the samething I got a lttle scared because my breasts were so sore for a long time, my Gynecologist had blood-work done and like you my estrogen level was fine, well to make a long story short it turned out I was pre-menopausal,

Hi! I thought I was going crazy myself! I am going to be 45 in a couple weeks. I've had sore and tender breasts. Especially my nipples. I've had it for at least a week now. I'm due for my period in four days, although my periods have been very erratic. I never had a period in the month of February. I've gone up to 50 some days without a period. I'm getting hot flashes here and there. Not too bad, though.
My question is, if I had my tubes tied and I also had one ovary removed due to a cyst, can I go into early menopause? I've read something about "surgical menopause". I still have one functioning ovary. I would say my periods have been all over the place. My last period was in April, but it lasted three days. This breast & nipple soreness is also driving me nuts. I had a mammo done in March. They did spot a fluid-filled cyst and I have to go back in September for a recheck to make sure it's ok. Do you think it sounds like I'm in perimenopause? I've had problems with "dryness", skin and all :( , wake up during the night, hot flashes every so often, and erratic periods. Is 45 too young to be going through this? Thanks for your answers! -Kay
