I know I have posted this before, with no respose, so i am going to try again. I am 44yrs old and have always have irregular periods, since I started at 13.
In the mid 80's and part of 90's I would go long periods of time without bleeding. Now I have been constantly bleeding for the last 6yrs or so. Maybe stopping for a day or two. I went to the gyn 3 times and have done ultrasounds and inner ultrasounds and had 2 biopsy. They seem to find nothing. They can not put me on any hormones, because I had blood clots in my lungs 5 years ago and they worry it might happen again. They say I might be missing the hormone that clots the blood after a period in the uterus. And since I don't produce that hormone, my uterus constantly sheds, so I bleed every single day. I was wondering if anyone has experience this problem. I did read the thread from hucklberrie, but I don't have cysts or any pain (thank God, the bleeding is bad enough).:(
