week 24 aproved by my hmo for 24 more weeks no i can do the full 48 weeks . never felt better .my doctor said iam a very good responder my numbers went from. 6.4 million to 12300 thousand in 8 weeks 6 days had blood work done thursday week 23 and 6 days .because of my numbers in in my 9 week test they aproved me friday . my hmo went by my numbers and responsr .it take 1 week, for hepmax results to come back . hmo did not wait aproved

Glad to hear you're feeling so much better with tx. WE hear quite a lot about the difficulties of interferon, so it is good to know that some folks feel just fine on it.

Congratulations on your test results! I just did shot 12 and am very nervously and anxiously anticipating my blood test coming up this Friday.

All in all, I feel OK. Only side effect has been anemia, which I've been getting Procrit shots for. It takes a few weeks to build up red cells, but am feeling pretty darn normal now. Some little symptoms have abated since beginning tx, like no more abdominal pain, and brain fog is lots better. Reasons to be positive about the test......

Ditto here. I'm at week 28 of the peg/rib treatment. I'm type 1A and am taking 120 mcgrms weekly and 1200 mgs daily. I'm marchin' on to the full 48...

recived my hepmax results undectable .also went to my doctor thursday doctor very pleased with my results went from 6.47million to 123000 to undecteable .the doctor up rebetol to 1400 mg a day from 1200 mg .this helps to get any very small virius may be lingering and help you stay undectedable.iam also pleased with my results geno 1a .also did my week 26 shot today .still going strong .will keep you posted
