Hope this doesnt get to long for you.

Around 4 years ago i started to get a really bad earache all the time. I went to my doctor back and forth and had antibiotics and he got concerned as i was getting throat infections alot aswell so he tested me for Glandular fever which came back negative, but he was pretty sure i had it.
I then had my tonsills out as i was getting tonsillitis all the time.

I started a college course, about 3 months after having my tonsills out and for the past 3 years i have had cold after cold, bug after bug.

I managed to complete my course with top marks however and found a job in October of last year which i lost in december due to my health.
I was then hospitalised at new year due to the noro virus, i was in severe pain and the doctor thought it was gall stones, which thankfully it wasnt.

I then found a new job last month started on the wensday and by saturday i had a throat infection, i had no time off though.
The following weekend i got a stomach bug and was off for 3 days.
I then ended up the following weekend with a chest infection. I didnt see my own doctor, i had to go to the out of hours care, who told me it was viral.
I was still in work with the bad chest untill last thursday when i was having problems breathing with my asthma, saw my doctor who said it was a chest infection and signed me off work for a week as i was so poorly.
Then last night i was in pain breathing and ended up at out of hours care and given steroid tablets to help my asthma for a couple of days.
I am now close to losing my job when i go back on wensday due to health again and im at my wits end.
It is getting me down, constantly back and forth to the doctors, and we also havnt had a permenant doctor during this time, just Locums.
I begin to feel they think im a hypochondraic as im always ill and i cant take losing this job, getting another and losing that due to health, as i love working.

Has anyone experienced this and could you please help me, it is ruining my life and creating unneeded stress on me and my parents, as i have a terminally ill brother and we dont need the stress of this.
I am going to speak to my new permanant (hopefully) doctor tomorrow so any ideas would be great, i just want to get to the bottom of this.

If you haven't been tested yet ask your doctor to test you for Sjogrens. Its complicated with all the symptoms but I had a lot of what you have and finally they tested me and thats what it turned out to be. Sjogrens can dry out your throat, attack your lungs and other things. It attacks you saliva glands and moisture glands. I have asthma too. Go to a good immunologist and ask him to test you for it...if you get it early you can control it before it does damage as it has done to me. Good luck.
