My ~17 mo is a hot headed stubborn little girl.
She won't eat ... We are primarliy vegetarian (with some chicken )and we miny depend on lentils for protein
Her usual lunch /dinner consists of rice, lentils (these two form a complex carb and take care of the protein requirements), a vegetable and yogurt.
She sees the lentils and freaks out.. she won't eat lentils.. she won't eat eggs .. she won't eat chicken.
She MAY eat non yellow coloured vegetables like peas and carrots and beans.
She may eat white rice and she definitely will eat the Dannon fruit yogurts and most fruits. Mainly she likes sweet foods.
SHe gets totally mad when I offer her healthy food I offer.
She gets no chips/candy or other VERY junk food but I am woried she likes only sweet stuff lik juice, fruit, flavuored yogurts and no protein foods. It is far from a balanced diet IMO and I just can't help worry about her.
I've tried many things already.. letting her starve it out .. not offering her food and offering her my plate but this sotry has been going on for over a month already and I am getting fatigued by it. When I get home from work I am tired and have little tolerance for this behavior at the same time I am so worried about her nutrition. I am at the end of the tunnel with ideas and smarts to try with her.. any advise or me would help greatly.
Thanks
