I have asked before this type of question however been out of town a few weeks and do not know if it was answered. I will try and reword it.
What I want to know is what points did you address for your disability either SS or private company disability? I really need some help, as I am soon going to apply for early retirement on a medical. I need good solid points to use in my favor. Not just this or that hurts. I have to go through two other doctors and a board for approval. My spine doctor has wanted me to retire for years now. He will write up what he needs to. I have my 3rd neck surgery on Monday and will try to start the process then.
My husband deploys July and I do not think I can do it all, work fulltime in a stressful job, take care of a then 3 yr old, and a herd of animals and house and land. I am really getting worried. I have no family within 500 miles.
I am really afraid to retire in one sense because I will miss my worklife, but I know after being on vacation for two weeks, after 5 days I felt so good. I still needed my medicines but really felt so much better.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi, read the tread towards the bottom of this page entitled disability. Maybe #9 & #10, (i think i have the no's right) will be most beneifical. I sure am sorry your hubby is going to deploy but especially for your sake. That alone is so stressful and stress is the worst for our condition. Sounds like you have your hands full. Honestly this is not want you want to hear but most people have a difficult time collecting disablitly. Especially fibro patients. I would like to go for it myself but cant deal with the stress of it at the moment. I'b been through a lot and have to give myself a break from as much stess as i can right now. I wish you the best of luck and really hope they can help you to collect it a.s.a.p. And feel better

I know but as I stated it is my "pension" my money not the governments or anyone elses. The system is hard but not as hard as Social Security Disability. I will look for that post. Thanks
