I have been cramping for the past two weeks! I'm not on my period.. I was supposed to start 3 days ago. I have been using progesterone cream since O. Today it is so bad all I want to do is lay down with a heating pad :(
Sometimes they are like period cramps and other times I get twinges to either side of my stomach but up a little higher. Like right across where my belly button is. My lower back is killing me, I can't sit still. And to top it all off, my nipples have been on fire since last week. Sometimes I can swear someone it holding a ligher under them! This comes and goes too...but frequently!
Has anyone else had cramps around in this time?? :confused:

Dumb question, but what is progesterone cream and what is it used for?
Too bad you are having such bad cramps. Maybe it is a sign of good things to come!;)

Well, it is used for many things like relieving PMS symptoms and for menopause. Or for women who have too much Estrogen and not enough progesterone in a certain part of your cycle. But I use it for my extremly short cycles. Typically a Luteal Phase Defect is the cause of short cycles.. and thats what I assuming that I have.
Studies have shown that progesterone may provide many benefits. These include protection against fibrocystic breasts and breast cancer, protection against osteoporosis, maintaining the sex drive and normalizing blood sugar levels. Along with balancing your hormones
Just make sure it says USP Progesterone on the label..if you go to use it. That means it it natural and not synthetic. I use something called Eplus Pro Cream or something like that. If you search the web, you'll find out some really amazing stuff!
I still haven't started my period. Im on CD 21 and usually I only make it to cd 16 or 17! I am positive that it is the progesterone cream.. thats the only thing I have done different! BABY DUST TO EVERYONE :angel:

That's great that it is working for you! My problem is that my cycles are way too long....:confused: I have been patiently waiting for my body to regulate itself after BC, but it sure is taking its sweet time!!

Yep, I know how that goes. Mine is taking 8 months and counting! I finally took measures into my own hands and started taking this pregesterone cream. Its working so far =)

Exactly what is it and how do you use it? Is it an actual cream?
