Hi - had a lower molar extracted today. Was told no rinse or gargle until tomorrow - no brushing teeth until tomorrow either.

I was told I can have soft foods as long as I felt like them today.

I did really well - he put me to sleep with IV sedation and i woke up and it was done. Never felt a thing - some pain tonight.

Tonight I had a small amount of cooled down, SOFT mac and cheese - I was hungry!

A few pieces of macaroni are now sitting in the hole/clot. I was able to very carefully remove a few but there is still more there.

What do I do - leave it until I can rinse tomorrow? I am afraid they are going to get stuck in the coagulated blood and remain.

Anyone?

Try and eat on the other side of your mouth. I was given a thingy that looks like a shot needle that I can put water in and direct into/near the hole when I had my wisdom teeth out. Maybe they don't give those out anymore. Be gentle what ever you do to get the food out. Use some warm water and try and rinse it out.
