Hi -
I have a question. I know that it is hard to tell how you got HPV, unless you've only ever been with one partner.
My question is, if I am HPV positive - and can assume my partner has it as well, if I get my cervix treated with whatever procedure they choose to use to remove the cervical dysplasia (IF it is necessary) and I test negative for HPV in 4-6 months, won't he and I just keep passing it back and forth over the years and I will keep having to have the procedure done? Unless we used a condom?
(P.S. We are in an exclusively monagamous relationship.)
