I am 67 years old. I had congested heart failure two years ago. About Four months ago i quit smoking. I use to smoke alot. About a month ago i had to go to the outpaintents because I was having severe bloating in the stomach area and they gave me something to drink that numbed my mouth, a pill and a needle. I do not know exactally what happend. Since I gave up smoking i've been having trouble sleeping and breathing. I can not do anything. I do not have any energy. I use the bathroom a lot and i sleep most of the day. I have extremly bad stomach and i end up getting sick alot. I'm always congested. My breathing gets very bad and i have really bad mood swings. I cough alot and my stomach bloates out alot. Do any of you know what could be wrong? Please help. Thanks.

The not being able to sleep issue and getting up to go to the bathroom sounds alot like symptoms of sleep apnea. When you deprive your body of oxygenated blood because of the stopped breathing process of sleep apnea, you have triggered all kinds of symptoms and problems. I would get to a physician that could perform a sleep study. The study could tell exactly what is happening while your sleeping so that you know what is going on with the major organs of your body. That's my suggestion! - Good Luck! -WF
