Squamous epithelial cells are simply skin cells. The most common reason you'd have so many in your urine is that you did not collect the urine via a "mid-stream clean catch" method. Did you urinate straight into the cup (not the appropriate way to collect a specimen) or did you use the disinfectant wipes and then urinate into the toilet to clear the skin cells from your urinary tract, before then collecting in the cup?

It doesn't mean anything harmful regarding your health to have a lot of squamous epi cells in your urine, but because skin cells are covered in bacteria, any bacteria that is grown on the culture (or if any were seen in the urinalysis), they could be skin bacteria and not an infection.
