View Full Version : Heat Haze Distortion??

Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced what I can best describe as heat haze distortion. Have not found much info through my internet searches. For the last few months I've noticed that some objects appear as if they are vibrating. Lately, more objects appear to be doing this. I'm even having this problem when shopping. I've had a few times where the shelves (and one time everything in the store) appear to be vibrating. Don't know if I'm just more conscientious of this and now I'm mentally creating a problem (does cause a bit of anxiety), or if there is more to it. I did go to the optometrist (no dilation) and was diagnosed as being farsighted with perfect vision. Have also been asked if I have migraines, but I don't suffer with painful headaches. I realize that one can have silent migraines, but this problem seems to be lasting a long time rather than a few minutes/hours. I would also imagine that if it were migraine then everything would look wiggly and not just some things.

Anyway, I thought I'd post my issue in the eye/vision board first and see what you guys may have for suggestions. Thanks for any help/advice you may offer.

I can't really help, but you could download an Amsler grid from the net. Use it in good light, one eye at a time, to see if there are any distortions.
