I was just diagnosed and I am very confused about the entire situation. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. I first had my symptoms last November. I thought it was a bad spider bite and I never thought about it again. I have had a few more minor outbreaks so I decided to get it checked out. Can I only spread this to my boyfriend if he touches it during an outbreak? I have the outbreaks in the middle of my butt check on the right side. How could I have received this. If it is direct skin to skin contact how did I get it in this spot. I am so confused and upset.
