Taylor had her worst day/night yet, so we made an impromptu visit to the Dr. We explained the severity of the stomach pains she seemed to be having (she screams so bad during them, her temp went up to 100.7) I asked about the Levsin drops and he prescribed them for us. Has anyone else used them? I have heard good things about them from a few people, but thats about it. Im afraid to do a google search because I dont want to scare myself!

My daughter was on them for 2 months and they were an absolute LIFE SAVER!!!! Her stomach issues were so awful and the gas would make her just scream in pain. The sounds were just awful. Once we started the Levsin, all that was solved!!!! She definitely outgrew the Levsin and no longer needs them anymore. My sister in law's little one just got put on them as well and he no longer is crying and uncomfortable from the stomach pains. We both worked our way up to giving the babies the drops every 6 hours FAITHFULLY!!!! When we started it was every 8 hours and that wasn't enough. So they had us go to 6 hours and it worked like a charm:)

They said the drops may make her drowsy or constipated...we did not experience either one of these. You will see how wonderful these drops are for your little one...and she won't be on them forever...probably a month or two. Keep me posted on how they work.

Marie - your reply just made my day! Do you remember if they started working immediately. She had her 2nd dosage this morning...so far, its hard to tell yet, because she may not have had a stomach cramp episode yet though. Im guessing they made her a little drowsy though...she slept from 7:45 to 3:30 this morning. But then again, maybe she was able to sleep that long because stomach cramps didnt wake her up like usual!

I think within a few days I really saw a big difference. I felt the same way at first, not sure if they were helping, but as the time went on we could see she was not cramping and having such awful gas. Let me know how the next days go! How awesome that she slept that long...I don't think it would make her sleep that well so maybe she just felt much more comfortable like you said.
