My question to the masses is mostly about fever. I have had lower left abdominal pain (mild) for about three months. Recently I started to notice a low grade fever that comes and goes. I have be woken up to mild night sweats recently.

How severe are night sweats? Sweating through sheets? Non-stop sweating? I just break a small sweat and it goes away quickly. And my temp fluxuates between 96 and 98.

I am concerned about the pain and fever. I have a colonoscopy on Tuesday next week. I have had no blood in stool, etc. But more frequent urination.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

How are your bowels? Why are you having a colonoscopy? It sounds like you might have diviticulitis. 96 and 98 are typically not fevers. Anything over 99 or 100 would be considered low grade. It is a good thing you will be having a colonoscopy. I wouldn't worry too much. Nothing sounds to severe. Good luck, Linda
