I'm curious, the splint that I've been wearing for a while now (6) months has kind of helped with my clogged ears and pain. Wearing the splint pretty much 24/7 is what the doctor ordered. My story is my bite is terrible so my jaw is obviously bad. I've always had that popping since i was about 6 years old but never did i have any problems till 11 years later when my bite started moving around.

Question - After splint therapy what is normally the next step? I know different people have different things but what are the options?

Question 2 - I've heard of a special kind of doctor that does jaw work such as bracers/alligning your jaw to the proper position, should i seek one of those out? I'm seeing a dentist now that does TMJ pretty much on the side of his main stream dentist work.

befor braces you need to have your jaw in a relax position, it hard to find a good tmj dentist........not to mention how much money is being sucked
