does herpes start with one bump?

i was tested in january/ february, but i'm really scared...
it bleeds, but doesn't hurt... it could be razor burn bc i shave, but i don't know... please help?

It can start with one bump. Did the test come back positive or negetive? If you are worried about it, go to your doctor while the bump is still there and have another test done.

I believe this is the first post you are asking us to respond to in your second post.

Herpes starts different with everyone. I looks different with everyone. It behaves different with everyone.

Yes, it can start with just one bump. It can also start with a rash, a blister, and irritation, any or all of the above.

You mention that you were tested in Jan. And also that you shave. What did the test results show?? Are you positive or negative? What test did they run? If you are still experiencing symptoms which are worrying you - go get tested again. It takes 3 - 4 months for the antibodies to show up in your blood. It's 3 months after your test, so now is a good time for confirmation.

You are correct - it could be razor burn. If it's the exact same sore in the exact same place and it never gets better - it probably isn't though. At least for me, razor burn tends to go away after a couple days. Could be an ingrown hair though.

I think you need to go see a doctor, for you own peace of mind if nothing else.
