I'm 32 never had babies.

I went for a pap and breast exam on 4/8. The doctor found a lump in my left breast, but for like that last 3 yrs I have had drainage from my Right nipple.

It only comes out when I squeeze it out it's so dark green it almost looks black.

She has set me up for a diagnostic mammogram as well as ultrasound for 4/17.

How long does it take to get your results back, before they tell you, you need a biopsy? And can you get copies of your tests when you leave? Why do you need blood work done before getting a biopsy and what are they looking for in the blood work?

Thanks for any answers

I think they will be able to tell you something about your results the day you go, as most places read the mammogram and ultrasound right at the site. So you may know whether you need a biopsy that day. You may have to wait for copies of your results.

As far as blood work before the imaging tests, I am not sure why they are doing them. Good luck with your tests. Hoping for beneign results.

Hi,
They may be doing the blood work if your having surgical biopsy. Good luck.
