It could really be physical we cannot say for sure. Your body has a hard time getting used to eating more when you're used to starving.

However, if I think back to the eating disorder mentality...she may be pulling a fast one on you. By pretending to have stomach problems (after the meal she always used to purge) she will have an excuse as to why she is throwing up if you ever happen to catch her doing it. That is something I did years ago. I'd say I felt sick even when I didn't so when I did purge (only purged for about a month..wasn't for me)IF someone happened to of walked in on me/heard me...I would say "I told you I was feeling sick!"
