Hi. My 6 year old son had an eeg done last week to rule out absence seizures. There was no evidence of absence seizures but the neuro saw a slowing on the left side of his brain so she has ordered a VEEG and an MRI. I am a nervous wreck. This all started b/c we had our son evaluated for some reading difficulties and during the CSE meeting, his teacher mentioned that she saw him 'zone out' for a few seconds every once in a while. That sent us to the neuro and here we are now. Neither my husband or myself have ever seen any sort of seizures but I'm sensing the neruo seems to think that is what is going on. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight or has been through anything like this? Thanks
