I have tried many times, and it lasts a week-maybe 2, then the old habits start back. For those of you that ARE making the changes and keeping them, what has been key to you?

Well, I need to lose 35-40 lbs., and I'm trying to do it. Certain things I have no problems with are exercise, eating fruit and veggies and drinking water. I do have problems with the portions and cutting out sugar and salt. It's very difficult. What I do is try to keep up during the week and on the weekends, I'm a little more lenient with myself. I only lost 3 lbs. and it took me 8 weeks to do it, but it's better than gaining!
