Hi Oasis,

Thanks for asking about the ozone treatments. Have you tried taking 6-9 extra virgin coconut oil supplements per day spaced out with food per day? I still take 3 per day, and that's it.

Although I do feel some tingling, and/or a little burning or itchiness everyday, taking the supplements keeps that mostly in check. I have been able to prevent an out and out OB for a long time now, probably about 2 months or more. I can say I haven't had any large OB (more than 2 tiny sores) since starting the treatment in January. I used to do the vaginal insufflations about 3X/week, but near the end of March I added funneling to my lower back to my routine. Since starting to do that I feel as though it's working even better. I've also tried making sure I do either one type of the treatments or both everyday. So that may be partly why I'm doing even better as well. By doing just the insufflations I felt my symptoms of itching/burning/irritation were worse the day after treatment, but this has changed. I no longer feel that way. Although the funneling to my lower spine seems to have improved things, it's also caused some burning on my skin. I fell asleep with it suctioned good to my back and it burned it badly, so bad that a scab formed in the shape of the round funnel! So now I try to make sure my skin is wet (I wet it a few times during tx with a washcloth) and move the funnel around so no one area of skin gets irritated constantly.

Overall, the ozonating using funneling to my lower back/spine and vaginal insufflations has definitely proven to me to be effective and made my daily life so much happier! There's this ONE tiny area of my inner labia that always seems to be the first place I get any kind of redness/irritation, and tiny red spot that is so tiny I am not certain if it's an opening in the skin (ie sore). But that's ALL I've gotten and the ONLY place I've felt pain (except for the beginnings of a yeast infection I keep battling with acidophilus and yogart...see below).

I just completed my THIRD round of antibiotics for bronchitis and an overall sickness that I couldn't seem to shake for the last 6 weeks. The reason I mention that is because I have battled getting yeast infections since my teen years, and antibiotics brings them on. So my symptoms of itching/burning/irritation may also be due to symptoms of the beginning of a yeast infection from all these antibiotics and not necessarily from the herpes. I take acidophilus pills almost everyday to counteract the yeast infection from coming full on, as well as eating a lot of yogart. Now that I've finally finished my 3rd round of antibiotics (last night) I can hopefully find out if things get altogether better in every way down yonder!
