View Full Version : Starting on Milk

Me again...I just posted the other day about milk allergies and starting milk, but now my question is - what do you do if your little one prefers the formula? Is this normal and it will just take some time to get use to it? I gave my daughter some milk earlier tonight and she just pushed it away and kept making a funny face like she wasn't sure what she had tasted. I didn't heat it and am wondering if I should. I know she is suppose to get off the formula, so I'm a bit concerned about how to get her to like it.

Do you warm up the formula? If so, I would warm the milk too. If it is still an issue, I would give her a smaller bottle of formula and add milk for the difference. Each day giving her a little more milk and less formula. She will adjust and before you know it she will be on "inexpensive"whole milk and no longer on the "costs a fortune" formula!!! Good luck, I hope this helps:angel:
