i have wanted to work at the MAC counter for some time now and want to know if anyone who has worked there or is currently working there can tell me exactly what they're looking for. the last time i applied there i actually had and interview and was set up to bring my model in to interview with the regional manager so she could check out my skills. they ended up wanting a freelancer who was already trained so things didn't work out. but i want to make sure i do things differently if i get the opportunity to interview with them. i want tips just on what the wear. my best friend told me she heard through the grapevine they typically like you to have edginess about you. i can see that just looking at other women who work there. but what about the makeup? i'm very good at applying makeup but do they want to see your skills literally written all over your face or do they want you to be a tad bit more subtle? i can be subtle but i can also be over the edge. this is something i really want to do so if anyone knows or knows anyone who's worked for MAC feel free to comment.
