I have great skin and even though I have stretch marks they are barely noticable because they blend so well with my skin. Ever since I got preggo I began lathering up after showers without drying off, I air dry so the water and oil/ lotion is absorbed better. It's been about 6 years since I have been doing this sometimes switching between Body oil and lotion (Neutrogena and Avon have nice body oils/Any cocoa butter lotion is good), but basically every time I take a bath or shower this has been my routine and I feel it has been a progression for better as time went on throughout the years..... Whatever you do, do it for the long run don't expect quick results. Kinda like dieting...look to create a life long routine not a quick fix, then you will really see results! tinkywinky 05-07-2008, 12:12 PM There is a (I think) loreal stretch mark cream, doesnt take it away but it makes quite a difference! duskandsummer 05-08-2008, 09:24 PM I use a gradual self tanner (tanner + moisturizer) it seems to minimize the appearance :). EllieFrog 05-09-2008, 04:20 PM I've tried the self-tanner thing and unfortunately for me it makes them even more obvious. It's probably because the tanner absorbs around the marks, but not inside them... so they remain white while the rest of my skin is tan making them appear even more obvious. :( |
