For the past couple of days my 9 month old son is eating really poorly. He does not want to eat strained food, so I make him some baby bit size things like cheese, or little pastas, or little meatballs, ect... But he eats that for a couple of bites and then refuses that too. He is also only drinking some of his bottle and leaving quite a bit. I am not sure why all of a sudden he went from a good eater to a horrible eater.
He also seems to HATE his highchair. Has anyone else found their child really hated being in the highchair? Are any more comfortable than others?
Any ideas on how to get him to eat?

our little one is just short of 10 months...and I can empathize. I've noticed a few things:
1) before a really big growth spurt he will eat and eat
2) if he is teething - will refuse just about everything bottle, solids etc
...and than 'the return of my happy baby' comes back and wants to eat like a champ.
As for high chairs - I feel your pain - we have been through a bunch booster seats & highchairs and it seems we found the best one:
Fisher Price Rainforest (@ target) Booster - it has grooves for his bum and legs - belts like a car seat and has a "play-land" tray. Our little guys is a wiggle worm and loves to lean...by far the booster I mentioned has worked out for us.
Best of luck
