I have been having a strange symptom. I am 38, and get these "electrical pulses" or tingling that are mainly in my face, but also go to my chest and hands. Sometimes just closing my eyes or moving will cause them. I would get them some days only in the mornings, but for the last few days, they have been nonstop. Could this be caused by one of my medicines? Has anyone else ever had this?

I have tingling also. (I call it shocks.) Mine can be any place on my body at any time. There is no pattern that I can see. I have had it explained that it is because of electrolyte imbalance. Another doctor has said it is neuropathy. I'm not diabetic so I'm not sure what could cause me to have neuropathy.
Sorry not to be able to give you a good explanation. The shocks irritate me, but most of the time I can ignore them. I have had them about 3 years- they started about the same time I started passing out in the shower.

Thanks, for replying. It helps just to know there is someone else having this symptom. I called my doctor's nurse, but she hasn't called back to tell me what my doctor thinks. I wish you well.
