Like the thread title says, I really don't know what my problem is. Here are the symptoms. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too & if so, please post!
Since I was 20, ( I'm nearly 36 now), I started having acute stomach pain which would occur AFTER I had a bowel movement. This episode of pain can last from 10-20 minutes. In addition to the severe pain, I get pain in my legs & feel super woosy. Then all of a sudden it just stops & nothing happens for months. These episodes of pain happens about 6 times a year. But like I said, it happens after I have a bowel movement. The bowel movements seem to be normal, no blood in the stools. I don't vomit with these episodes. I'm not losing weight & I really don't think food is causing the problem because if that were the case, it would happen all the time. Generally most of the time that I have a bowel movement there is no pain afterwards but at the times that I do experience pain, it's very acute. The pain is similar to menstrual cramps, slightly worse. I don't know what is causing this. I have an underactive thryoid & I take levothyroxine.
I can understand having stomach pain BEFORE going to the bathroom but why would I have pain AFTER??
Anyone else suffering like this?
I'm going to see my doctor about this.
