My daughter was recently diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Seizures. Each time she has complained of her legs tingling or hurting right before the seizure starts. The ped neuro said the EEG was conclusive but could not explain the leg pain preceding the seizure. I was wondering if any other parents had a child who awoke with leg pain or tingling that went right into a grandmal seizure? I am thinking the portion of the brain that the BRS type seizures come from does not correlate to the legs. Trying to get an answer. Thanks in advance. by the way this she has had three known seizures and a couple other times that no one witnessed the seizure but one very possibly occured judging by the postictic stage.
