View Full Version : Seen an ortho, should I see a neurologist

I have seen my ortho many times for cortisone shots for what he says is cts in both hands (for a 1.5 have had numb and tingly hands when waking up or soemtimes when holding blowdryer - get that nerve sensation when something hits the back of my hand, now have very achey wrists). My mom went through this and said I should have it diagnosed with a neurologist. Did you?

I see an acupuncturist and it helped for awhile - but working on the computer and raising twin 2-yr-olds is killing my wrists. I have a sore neck and shoulder sometimes, so I am not sure if it is CTS or something else.

Merrylee,
I would see a neurologist if I were you. They can tell you for sure if it CTS, also if it is, how bad it is. Good luck to you. Keep us posted.
