View Full Version : Hernia-Like Pain

For as far back as I can remember, I have randomly got this unusual pain in my lower abdomen. Sometimes it was one side, sometimes both. I noticed that it was intensified when I sneezed, coughed, etc. I mentioned it to my Ob-Gyn last visit; she said it sounded likes hernias, but felt and found nothing. Recently the pain has become fairly constant, but at different degrees.

My younger sister began complaining of her 'ovaries' hurting this past year. I realized that her pain was in the same place as mine. She is currently awaiting multiple test results for a diagnosis. The doctor seems to think that it is related to a digestive issue.

Has this ever happened to anyone before? What is it? What helps? And is it possible that we are truely experiencing the same issue?
