Finally getting to see an MS Specialist on Tuesday. I just had a flare March 29 - April 12 or 13. I'm still experiencing some "wobbliness." I hope that isn't a permanent resideual effect, but I know the relapses can leave you a little worse off even though the worst is over.

I had a flare up back in june/july 07 and am still experiencing lingering side effects but my doctor is going to put me on solumedrol IV to see if it helps my symtoms clear up. Hopefully they can give you something as well... I haven't taken the steroids yet but will let you know if they work out for me or not! Im having residual numbness and tingling in both my legs. Good luck with your appointment, let us know how it goes. I hope everything clears up for you....

Good luck Lisa..seeing an MS specialist can be a really good thing because they are so intuned with what we deal with..they see it every day and have heard of everything! Make sure you take any and all test results along with a journal of symtoms and any meds/supplements you are taking..be prepared to answer a ton of questions and hopeuflly youll have a good evaluation...its a good place to get answers..

I had 3 days of solumedrol this time. 4 days last time (July '06).

GL :) Are the doses administered always shorter when you go in for another round of them? My initial amount was 6 days, 3.5 hours a day on the stuff. Haven't had to return for another round yet.
