My skin is not elastic by genetics, so my pores will not shrink on their own even though its only been 2 years. Anything to help shrink them before they become permanant?

You mention that it's been two years... two years since what? I can't exactly see what you're trying to say other than that you want to shrink pores. Unfortunately, there really is no way to shrink pores permanently. I have large pores myself and have tried various creams and masks that don't really do a whole lot. Maybe there are some professional treatments out there, but I imagine they'd be really, really expensive. I guess if you have the money and time you could look into that.
Otherwise you kinda just have to live with it, and just make sure you wash and moistuize your skin regularly to avoid clogging of pores which makes them look even bigger and more obvious.

I was going to ask the same thing - 2 year since what??

If you find an answer you'll be a millionaire! I've been trying to find something for years!

Definitely use the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. It is AMAZING!

I, too, had HUGE pores for years. After using the mask about 2x per week for the past few weeks, my pores have shrunk significantly. I also am extremely oily, and this has greatly helped control oil.

It is also very cheap (less than $4 for a large tube). I highly recommend it!!!

I've heard many wonderful things about Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, so I went out and bought it one time (a while ago). Though I really like clay masks and they do work well, I didn't see any difference in the size of my pores at all (and I used the mask once or twice a week till the tube was gone - and we all know how long that tube lasts... forever!)
Even though I didn't see a difference I did enjoy using the mask just for deep cleansing every week... but the last time I went to look for it at a local Meijer (that's the only store I could find it at), they stopped selling it. I don't know whether it's just the specific stores I went to or what, but I was never able to find it again.

Since then I've tried St. Ives clay mask, and it's not as good as Queen Helene, the tube is smaller, and it's more expensive. I won't be buying St. Ives again but I will definitely continue searcing for Queen Helene and will hopefully be able to find it soon.

I have, however, also heard really good things about Olay Deep Cleansing Clay Mask... but, once again, it's expensive (I think around $7-8 for a 5 or 6oz tube). I guess I may give that a try if I can't find Queen Helene.

Queen Helen is amazing! It really helps to get all the gunk and excess oil out of my huge open pores, thus making them appear smaller and closed.

But I do agree that it is VERY difficult to find. The only place that I can find it is at Harmon Discount (a discount cosmetics chain ONLY in the NYC metro area), and in CVS. But there are a few CVS stores near me, and only one carries it. So check out different CVS stores near you!

I didn't know that CVS has it. Thanks! There are a few CVS stores around here so I'll have to look for it there.

You're welcome! But check all the CVS stores, because not all of them carry it.

I know of three in close proximity so I'll start with the closest one. Hopefully it will have it so I don't have to keep looking.
