I'm currently taking estrostep Fe. There are 21 active pills, the last week I get my period. Normally it takes about 3 days of taking the sugar pills for my period to come. I was wondering if I would still be protected in between those 3 days before I get my period. So for example, if I normally get my period on a Wednesday, if I would still be protected on Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday since I am not taking any active pills. please let me know if my question is not clear enough. thanks!

As long as you've been taking your active pills every day and on time (give or take a couple hours) you're still protected. Each missed pill increases the risk for pregnancy, though.

I agree! I know people who have claimed to get pregnant during these times, but they were taking antibiotics, which lowered the accuracy of the pill. As long as you have been taking your pill perfectly, you will be protected!
