Called the nurse today regarding my elevated heart rate. Got a call back from the doctor personally, who wanted to know how long this had been occurring. Needless to say, she was not impressed that I just now let her know. I have an appointment in the morning to have blood drawn again.
She said something about my renin, potassium, and sodium, and that they will be pulling cortisol levels again along with the thryoid panels.

Today my blood pressure was 90 over 55 with a heart rate of 100 when standing. I feel ok, just incredibly TIRED.
To answer you question from the previous response to my post, no i do not think my doctor knows much about adreanl problems. I do not know a doctor in my area that does. I go to her because she is the thyroid master, and she managed to fix me and diagnose me with the adreanal problems, and help me survive thyroid cancer. I have a lot of respect for her, just wish adrenals were more her specialty.

I have a doctor that specializes in Endocrinology. He found my Addison's and I see him often because of it

Well, she is pulling the right tests. 100 is high but not until you get to 120 or so do they consider it really high.
Renin is as picky a test as ACTH in that it degrades quicky at room temp so make sure that one, if possible, is drawn in a chilled lavendar tube, spum promptly in the centrifuge, and then frozen as soon as it comes out just like ACTH.
Renin is often more accurate if you have been standing 30 or more minutes before the test but now some labs have a supine level.
I hope you can get some answers.

I do remember seeing a lavender tube, not sure if it was cold or not, and I did not have to stand 30 minutes before the test.

Hope they find out the problem. I am not feeling well today. I did not get to take cortisol until 11 thyroid meds until 10 and it was incredibly hot at work today, so I am most irritable and sort of dizzy.

If it did not go straight into a centifuge (if it went int the bin to be spun later)... the test will be inaccurate.
Some labs are very good at doing renin and ACTH, some I bring my own ice in a baggie and put the tubes in it while the draw (ticks off some, others do not mind) and I leave them the ice if the tube has to sit as some labs have shared centrifuges, others if it is right there, I insist on seeing it done. I see a huge swing in my results when there is a shared centrifuge and the tube sits.
Then my last ACTH was not frozen and I did not get it... ACK!
You need salt if you are dizzy. Get tablets.
