I think I need an adjustment to my splint but am not sure. I have been having wierd twitching in my eyelids and some spasms on the right side of my neck when I am eating. Would this be because I need my splint adjusted? I have only had it for 6 weeks and was scheduled to go in again in a few weeks but wonder if I shopuld try to get in earlier?

It wouldn't hurt to contact the dentist and tell him about this - new symptoms or increasing severity of current symptoms should be dealt with as they happen - he may want to see you sooner as a result - or he may feel it is just part of your jaw repositioning. If you have his e-mail address why not just drop him a note.

Thanks, I ended up calling him and he said it sounds like my splint needs to be resurfaced.
