Is it always/usually 14 days after day one of AF that you will ovulate. I have a OPK and plan on using it starting on day 10 after AF, but I am so worried that I will miss my chance. I know everyone is different, but is there any way of knowing? (BTW-stopped BC this past wednesday, started AF this past Friday.)

Everyone woman is different, but I think MOST ovulate on CD10 & on. I have heard of women starting on CD8 though. I ovulate on CD12. My OB told me to start the OPT's on CD10, and on CD12 I got the happy face!

Thanks for replying. I think I will start testing on day 7 and then test every other day if the line is pretty faint. Test every day if it gets darker. I'm not even at the 2ww yet and I am soooo anxious already. Maybe this will be my month and yours too:)

I guess if it wouldn't hurt to do both. Then I can really try to pinpoint it. :)

Most women's leteul phase is 10-16 days after ovulation. Once you start charting, you get a better idea of when you ovulate, which makes it easier to know when to use an OPK. Good luck!
