When I look at the moon or street light or globe light I see the light surrounded by coloured circles (rainbow colours). If I cover my left eye (the problem eye) then the circles disappear. This has only very recently occurred and is happening continuously if I look at a light. This eye recently has become very dry.

You should go to an opthalmologist for a diagnosis as there could be several reasons for these symptoms.
