hi everyone its been awhile since i been on but my seizures came back after going allmost 5 mos on 1000 mgs depakote he upped them to 1500 mgs 3 times a day now omg i was having so many seizures mar30th i had a bad one and april 2nd ,3,4,5,6,11.21 and 2 on the 23rd he said my levels were 50.9 and ranges say 50-100 but said for seizures im suppose to be like 85-100 so he said i was on the very low side but i just started medication back in dec so it takes time and alot of patients ,and yes he said depression does come with having a seizure disorder im not as bad depressed anymore im also taking hormone replacements and he said they are safe to take with the depakote and so far i feel great ,i cant drive yet again but he told me to keep fighting ssi even if iam married because he said being married shouldnt have anything to do with it since i cant work because i never know when i may have a seizure oh how i wish i could work though i miss working .and my husband says he understands but i dont think he really does he trys to tell me to stop thinking about it and they will go away the dr said not true said we have no control over when we will have one ,but i have energy and im wearing makeup and im not letting these seizures take over my life and he also said even though im on medication dont mean i will be seizure free he said they can come back ,but wanted to pop in and say hi and let you all know oh does anyone know if i went to tanning bed would that cause a seizure ?? my legs are so white i need some tan on them just wondering ..
