With the biggest meal? froggypond 04-27-2008, 09:14 PM I could be wrong but I am thinking if it doesn't specify it doesn't matter... I take 1,000 mg of metformin daily and I found that taking them at night works better for me as they made me drowsy! It is not one of the normal side effects but it happened to me. Usually if they wanted them taking at a specific time they would put it right on the prescription! needhealing777 04-28-2008, 08:22 AM They make me tired too and I am only on 500mg..the bottle does not specify so I have tried them with breakfast and then with lunch and got to thinking I better find out just what I am supposed to do... lilbit1973 04-28-2008, 12:59 PM Have you asked your prescribing doctor or the pharmacist? I would, just to be sure. Also, read the pamphlet that came with it. rcrjoe 04-29-2008, 10:06 AM Is it the ER version? If so it does not really matter. If not, I would suggest evening or bedtime. Good Luck... |
