recently our little one (10 month old) started screaming and I mean those horrible kind of screams that make your hair stand on end during his bath.
Prior to this he would play and giggle...I am at my wits end when it comes to bath time.
Our little guy is nearly 30" long and I can't find a tub that works. He out grew his tub and we purchased several types and nothing seems to make him happy.
I am hoping that other Moms could give me some insight into what has worked for you and what type of bath you use.
Thank you for your help.

Have you tried one of those rings that just helps them sit up in the tub?

I purchased a tub that looks like a big duck (it's a Munchkin product from Target). She didn't enjoy the original transition from her baby tub to the bathtub, but the duck seemed to really help - it even quacks. That and some tub toys seemed to work well and she loves the tub. She is 30 inches long as well and is filling out the little tub, but still has some room to grow in it. Maybe try something like that (it was under $10) and see if it helps him get use to the bath again before transitioning to anything different.
Good luck - hope he loves his bath again soon!

My little one is 10mths. After she outgrew her baby bath I found bathing her in the sink was easy until she starting trying to get out a month ago, so if your little man is happy playing in the sink you could try that. You can buy little sink mats at the dollar store. Obviously you have to make sure you are right there with them all the time.
Ours wasn't very happy with the transition to big tub but after the third night she was a happy girl again, we just had a few short baths first. Just have lots of toys and it won't be long until he loves it again. ;)

I would suggest the tub seat or just letting them sit in the regular tub. I user nothing with my daughter at this point (11 mths). Once all my kids outgrew their baby tubs, they moved right up to sitting in the regular tub. You could also try something that looks like a bouncy seat for the bathtub.

i'd just put him in the regular tub.... sit him on a washcloth so he doesn't slip around too much. those baby tubs are great for little babies, but once they can sit up, they want to move around more!!!
if you absolutely don't like the idea of the regular tub yet, you might look for an inflatable tub you can use. my sis in law found hers at babies-r-us, but i've recently seen them at walmart or target (can't remember which).

Thanks ALL for the input - we have an undermount sink and I am a bit worried that he is going to crack his head on the granite - plus he is a wiggle worm. We tried the regular bath-tub - with no luck.
Needless to say - I am going to Target tonight to look for the duck bath and one that inflates.
Thanks again for the great input.
