I'm going through clinical depression right now but my biggest worry is how my feelings have changed for everything. I'm actually pre menopausal. I know that and depression go hand in hand sometimes. I was advised to go on the pill to bring up my estrogen level. Has this ever happened to anyone before? All your feeling for everyone and everything change? I'm on Lexapro right now for depression and colasapam (not spelled right) for anxiety. I'm staying at my brothers right now as to not put my boyfriend through my odd moods for a while. I've been told once my meds kick in that I'll be much better emotionally. At least my appetite is back!!! Hope I'm not the only one going through this odd emotional change. We get along so well with no problems and he's been nothing but supportive also. It's all me completely. I'm very worried. He's so so wonderful. What is wrong with me? We've been together 12 wonderful years. Actually, I don't even feel the same way about myself either.

Welcome GatorOnLine,
I am glad that you have found this board. It has been very helpful to me just knowing I am not alone. Yes I hate to say but things and feeling do change during menopause. It can be a roller coaster at times with many up's and down's but keep posting and you will find some very nice women here that understand what you are dealing with. Yes doctor's often times prescribe the pill to increase your estrogen level. I hope your other prescriptions kick in soon and you can start to feel better soon and able to go back home. Stay in touch and take care.
Julie:)
