It has been a while since I have been on here..but I wanted to post my good news. Last yr I found out I have high risk hpv and had dysplasia after an abnormal pap smear. I ended up getting cyrosurgery. Well about 5 months later I got pregnant ...I got my pap results back and it came back NORMAL:angel: Thank God. Me and my husband are so thankful and I am now 25 wks prego! So far so good! I was supposed to be getting repeat pap smears every 3 months for a yr after my cyrosurgery but since I am pregnant the doctor says they only check that once (when I first got pregnant) because they dont want to put the baby at risk. Is that normal not to get another pap since I am pregnant???I know the results came back normal but not getting a pap smear for another 5 months ( I am guessing) seems kinda a long time away since I am high risk?:confused:
