Thanks for your help, I do so appreciate it.

I slept without a pillow for the past three nights and it seems to have relieved the pain somewhat.

I was wondering if you tried the Cranial Sacral and if it has helped you? Would you know of any Cranial Sacral therapists in our area that are good. I got a list off of a website all of them in NYC but I don't know who to choose.

Thanks again.

The cranial sacral therapy helped quite a bit with the body pain and muscle twitching and it helped my body relax - but b/c my bite was so messed up I would just tighten up again but I felt it definitely helped and I may actually start going again soon. I went to the Institute of Physical Therapy on the west side of NYC under Kennith Frey - although he initially evaluated and treated me after a few sessions he assigned my case to his associate Sandra Sheridan and she was very good as well - I went to her for almost a year but the travel was becoming tiresome since I am in the northern burbs and I was racking up parking tickets up the gazoo. They don't accept medical insurance but will provide a treatment statement and a medical claim form which you can submit to your private health insurance for reimbursement if you have insurance. Each appt lasted an hour and cost me $160 per weekly session of which I got 60% back from insurance. Their fees may have gone up since I last went more than a year ago. I was referred to them by my "then" tmj dentist I was seeing at the time in NYC as well. Its so ironic that I just watch a program on tv last night that poohed-poohed cranial sacral therapy by the medical community saying there was so scientific proof that it works despite the fact those that get treated says it does help - I thought it did help quite a bit but I'm not sure why either. I tried another therapist in White Plains last year closer to where I lived and did not get the same results that I did with Sandra however - so it may have to do with the training or technique and experience of the therapist.
