I've been on Lexapro for anxiety for 3 weeks now and I'm still having the same anxiety's I had before I started.

I've taken Paxil before and it worked great for my anxiety, but I gained 40 pounds so I stopped taking it.

I'm just wondering how long it took for lexapro to start working for others who are taking it for anxiety.

i just started lexapro , but my sister took it and said 4 to 6 weeks and then you will just start feeling better and she said nothing bothered her
